“A mandatory recount will occur if the results between the 1st and 2nd place candidates meet the necessary threshold,” King County Elections says on their website. For local elections, that’s when there’s a 150 vote (or .25% (.0025) of the total votes cast for both candidates) difference.

Bell stated via Facebook that the campaign will be holding a “Ballot Chasing for Bell in Burien” event this Saturday, Nov. 7:
