No-contact violation
An adult son violated a no-contact order against his father by breaking a screen door at a residence on Normandy Road on Aug. 5.
Child luring
An unknown suspect attempted to lure a child into his vehicle on Aug. 5 at 148th and Ambaum around 8 p.m.
Simple assault
A man assaulted his 14-year-old nephew by punching him in the face and slamming his head against a wall on Aug. 5 at an address on 13th Avenue S.W. and 124th Street. The relationship has been characterized by verbal arguments and antagonism of the victim, physical fights, punching and deadlocking.
Mail theft, forgery
A woman reportedly forged and deposited an Employment Security check belonging to another woman at Sunnydale Apartments. She is suspected of breaking into all apartment mailboxes.
Attempted suicide
A resident of the Princess Anne apartments took an unknown quantity of pills and alcohol in order to kill herself Aug. 5. She was taken to Highline Hospital.
Larceny
The manager of ECig n' Vape on 11st Avenue and 155th Street reported that an unknown male came into the store and while a clerk was distracted, the man reached outer the counter and stole a vape pen.
Overdose
A man reported was found overdosed on heroin at the Burien Library Aug. 2
Subject tased
An aggressive man was tased at Andy's Handy Mart on 160th Street Aug. 3. He made several gang references during the incident.
Threats to kill
An ex-husband showed up at his former wife's apartment on 138th Street on Aug. 1 and threatened to kill her and her new husband.
