Two more close games went the wrong way for the Highline Bears semipro baseball team this weekend.
The Bears took a 2-1 loss to the Northwest Honkers at home Saturday night before falling to the same team on the road Sunday, 10-8.
The Pacific International League losses came on the heels of a 5-4 home loss to the North Sound Emeralds in their season opener Friday.
Highline next visits the Everett Merchants at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday before going to Wenatchee to play the Apple Sox at 6:35 p.m. Thursday.
The Bears come home to Mel Olson Stadium at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center to play the North Sound Emeralds again at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
