West Seattle's new music phenom Star Anna of the band Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs who performed at Hiawatha Park Thursday night as we reported here got even more attention as they performed last night as part of the line-up in Pearl Jam's PJ20 (Pearl Jam 20) Concert at Alpine Valley in East Troy, Wisconsin. She was in the line-up culminating with West Seattle's Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam.
According to a musical blog on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Star Anna performed well. They write "...Star Anna was a young, barroom-tough rocker with an extraordinary heart and voice."
"Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs was a great way to start off the day for me even in the soaking rain. She has a commanding and beautiful voice and with her band they helped brighten the mood. The day's first surprise was when Pearl Jam's Mike McCready – Anna's biggest supporter – joined the band."

Star Anna tweeted this morning on her website, "We are having a fantastic time at PJ20! Mike (McCready) joined us on stage yesterday and we are SO EXCITED for our set today."
