Mount Rainier was edged by Kent-Meridian in a SPSL North tiebreaker playoff played last Wednesday. K-M took the No. 2 seed to the SPSL tournament and the Rams advanced as the No. 3.

North Kitsap ended the Totems' season in a Seamount-SPSL 2A tournament game Thursday.

Evergreen 49, Kingston 46
Evergreen of White Center opened the West Central District 2A tournament in style Friday, edging Kingston by three points in action at Klahowya High School.
Olympic 62, Foster 59
Foster fell to Olympic High School Friday in another three-point game, with this 2A game played in the Evergreen gym. The Bulldogs advanced to play Port Angeles in 8 p.m. Tuesday action at Lakes High School in Lakewood.
Eatonville 74, Tyee 32
Tyee's Totems were toppled in 2A action also played Friday at Evergreen High School.
Decatur 70, Kennedy 62
Seamount League champion Kennedy Catholic fell to South Puget Sound League 3A champion Decatur in Friday night action.

Foster rebounded to beat Eatonville in its second game played Saturday.
Clover Park 71, Evergreen 44
Evergreen returned to Klahowya Saturday and lost to the Warriors of the SPSL's 2A division, but still advance to play the Fife-Lindbergh winner at 8 p.m. Thursday at Foss High School, which shares a parking lot with Cheney Stadium in Tacoma.

Foster took a 48-39 loss at the hands of Fife Saturday, but still went on for a game against Eatonville at Lakes Wednesday.

The Warrior girls team won a convincing game against Northwest School this past Saturday in 1A action.
Boys swimming
WCD 3A Meet
Kennedy Catholic scored a first place team finish in West Central District Class 3A boys swimming action held at Hazen High School Friday, scoring 258 oints to the 235 of Hazen. Highline scored 69 points for ninth place.
The Lancers opened the meet by winning the 200-yard medley relay in a time of 1 minute, 41.60 seconds, then had Thane Maudslien take the 200 freestyle individual race in 1:44.17. Tommy Thach captured first in the 200 individual medley in 1:54.48 and Brian Donohue of JFK scored 383.25 points to win the diving competition.
Maudslien took the 100 butterfly in 50.55 and Jon Graybille of Highline took the 100 free in 48.89. Thach won the 100 backstroke for the Lancers in 50.55 and Kennedy followed by winning the 400 free relay in 3:20.52.
Boys wrestling
3A Region II
Highline and Kennedy both competed in the tournament held at Eastside Catholic, with Highline scoring 179 points behind the 201 of O'Dea. Kennedy placed ninth with 33 points.
The Pirates had four athletes pinned in their weight class finals, giving them second place for a trip to this coming Friday and Saturday's action at the Tacoma Dome.
Brandon Gilbertson was pinned in 2:39 in the 120-pound class and Steven Edson was pinned in 4:43 at 126. Josh Condrad lost the 220 by pin in 3:30 and Paul Toala was pinned 4:17 into the 285-pound match.
2A Region II
Foster, Tyee and Evergreen all journeyed to Centralia Saturday to compete in the 2A Region II meet. Foster came in 13th with 32 points and Tyee took 17th with 18. Evergreen came in 18th with 14.
Cale Woyvodich of Foster posted the only win among the three schools, scoring a 2-0 victory at 106 pounds.
Girls wrestling
Region II
The girls tournament combined classifications and was held at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup Saturday.
Highline placed seventh with 70 points and Evergreen tied for 31st with 11 points. Tyee placed 33rd with nine.
