Looking for a gig in law enforcement? Seattle Police are hiring
Fri, 04/06/2012
Time is starting to run out for anyone interested in applying for a job with the Seattle Police Department.
The hiring phase coincides with the announcement of Mayor Mike McGinn's "SPD 20/20" plan - a list of 20 police reforms the city plans to implement over the next 20 months. According to the Mayor's office, "These reforms go far beyond a response to the Department of Justice report. They will also increase the safety of our communities while improving the effectiveness of the police department at preventing and controlling crime."
Here are the details for applying to SPD, pre-officer exam workshops and exam dates.
Online Application Filing Period: April 2–27, 2012 at www.seattlepolicejobs.com
Entry Level Police Officer Exam: June 23-24, 2012.
