Updates posted for for Spokane Street Viaduct construction

Seattle Department of Transportation has announced a schedule of updates for the Spokane Street Viaduct construction project.
No Weekend Closures July 14-15
There will be no new closures associated with the Spokane Street Viaduct Widening Project this coming weekend, July 14-15. There will be some nighttime closures on Thursday and Friday of next week when the northbound off-ramp from I-5 to the westbound Spokane Street Viaduct will be closed both nights and traffic on the viaduct will be down to one lane in each direction. More details are below.
Thursday, July 12 – Friday, July 13
· First Avenue S will be closed at S Spokane Street to north and southbound traffic both nights. On Thursday evening the closure will begin at 10 p.m., while on Friday evening the southbound closure will begin an hour later at 11 p.m. (in order to accommodate traffic leaving the Mariners game). In both cases, the roadway will reopen to traffic at 5 a.m. the following morning.
Southbound traffic will be detoured to Fourth Avenue S at S Horton Street. Northbound traffic will be detoured eastbound on S Spokane Street and then northbound at Fourth Avenue S.
Thursday, July 19 – Friday, July 20
· The northbound off-ramp from I-5 to the westbound Spokane Street Viaduct will be closed both nights from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. The southbound off-ramp will remain open.
· Westbound traffic on the Spokane Street Viaduct between I-5 and SR 99 will be reduced to one lane both nights from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
· Eastbound traffic on the Spokane Street Viaduct between I-5 and SR 99 will be reduced to one lane both nights from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. Both the First and Fourth Avenue S off-ramps will remain open.
· Fourth Avenue S will be reduced to one lane in each direction at S Spokane Street both nights from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. All traffic will be shifted to the east or west side of the intersection.
