The wedding photographer of former longtime West Seattle residents Kari Boiter & Dan Strothman created some shade for their formal photo poses today at Hamilton Viewpoint Park on California Ave. Their wedding guests would have to soon endure the heat. The couple met working at KOMO 4 TV. He is still a TV cameraman & she now works in government in Olympia. Meanwhile a small crowd at the park had gathered to watch the Blue Angels fly across downtown. Click on photo for SLIDESHOW.

Hamilton Viewpoint Park, on the northern end of California Ave. SW, had a busy afternoon, playing host to a wedding, and a view of watercraft and aircraft, including Fat Albert and the Blue Angels.
It was hot, maybe too hot, as Kool & the Gang would say.
