Rufus Berry stands by his model of a white cow outside his BBQ restaurant on Ambaum Boulevard Southwest and Southwest 116th St.
If you have not stopped in to dine at Berry's BBQ on Ambaum and Southwest 116th, you probably have not seen the beautiful cow in the back of his pickup.
Rufus Berry, a 26-year army vet, and local ad man previously with Cole & Weber, formerly out at SeaTac, said he acquired the cow five years ago from the ad agency when Gateway Computer was sold to Acer Computers in 2007. Berry was the prop man for the agency.
The cow was used as part of Gateway Computer's marketing campaign. Berry had the cow refinished and began using it in his own business.
For the record, Berry serves BBQ beef and chicken to rave reviews from local customers. Enjoy the food. Maybe you'll also be included in Berry's amazing picture wall of celebrities.
