The 2013 cruise season is underway as the Crystal Symphony arrives
The Crystal Symphony kicks off the 2013 cruise season in Seattle as it sails past the West Seattle peninsula and the West Seattle Bridge to it's dock at Pier 66.

The 2013 cruise season arrived in the form of a ship, The Crystal Symphony which is part of Crystal Cruises. The ship arrived around 6:35am and is now docked at Pier 66.
The routine of weekly arrivals and departures starts next Sunday, with Holland-America Line‘s Oosterdam at Magnolia’s Pier 91, and the full weekly lineup beginning the second weekend in May.

The Crystal Symphony, built in 1992, is rated at 51,044 Gross Tons is, 781 ft long has 12 decks (8 are passenger accessible). It was retrofitted in 2006 at a cost of $23 million and again in 2009 at a cost of $25 million.
It has Six Wärtsilä-Sulzer diesel engines and can sail at 20 knots. It carries 922 passengers and a crew of 545.
