West Seattle Transportation Coalition receives public endorsements

The West Seattle Transportation Coalition is proud to announce on October 18, 2013, our first public endorsements from groups and individuals for WSTC, to help represent them on transportation-related issues. (see the Herald story about them here).
The following groups have endorsed the WSTC:
Delridge Neighborhood District Council, reported by Mat McBride, chair of the DNDC: representing the neighborhood councils of the eastern half of West Seattle.
Genesee-Schmitz Neighborhood Council: representing up to 7,700 residents.
Morgan Community Association: representing up 10,000 residents.
Alki Community Council, by vote: representing up to 4,900 residents.

The West Seattle Transportation Coalition is a Peninsula-wide organization working to address transportation and mobility issues for Seattle’s largest constituency. On October 13, 2013, the WSTC issued a call to action to the Mayor of Seattle, the Chair of the Seattle City Council’s Transportation Chair, the King County Executive, the Governor of Washington, and to nearly 50 other elected officials, agency leaders, and candidates to address critical transportation issues our peninsula is facing.
