Winterfire, featuring Willow Fulton and Ali Christopherson welcomes the winter season to White Center with a fire performance at the Greenbridge public space.
Performers Willow Fulton and Ali Christopherson came to the Greenbridge in White Center on Dec. 21 to mark the arrival of winter which began on Saturday (officially at 9:11am) with an event called Winterfire.
They performed fire dancing using a variety of implements to accentuate the fire and dance moves.
It was a soggy night however which kept the crowd to a handful, though some watched from the windows of the nearby Dubsea Coffee shop.
Fulton with 13 years of experience performing with fire and Kristofferson with just four months swing kevlar wicks on chains burning with a special blend of fuel. Music from a small amplifier provided the soundtrack as they whirled, and spun around the public space.
The performance was brief but spirited and welcomed winter to White Center with a warm and bright flame.
