Rachelle Navarro of Kennedy Catholic finished in a two-way tie for 16th place at the Class 3A girls tournament to lead all area higher classification state golfers this week.
Navarro shot a two-day total of 175 on the Lewis River course in Woodland. She played 18 holes each on Wednesday and Thursday.
JFK teammate Nikki Miller wound up in a four-way tie for 18th with her total of 176 strokes and Makenzie Milton of the Lancers finished in a four-way tie for 22nd with her 178 total.
Missing the first round cut of 94 to reach the second round from Kennedy Catholic were Lydia Hedge with a score of 104 and Addie Hedge with a 109 over 18 holes.
Ryan Sheardown of JFK finished in a seven-way tie for 18th place in the 3A boys tournament played on the Tri-Mountain course in Ridgefield.
Sheardown shot a 79 the first day and a 77 the second for a two-day total of 156.
Teammate Jake Ryerson wound up in a four-way tie for 34th place in the state, shooting two rounds of 80 for a total of 160.
The cut to reach the second day stood at 81 and Evan Gallando of the Lancers just missed with an 87. Teammate Todd Johnson turned in a 90 to also miss the second day.
