West Seattle Sportsman's club holding 80th Annual Fishing Derby June, 7

The 80th annual Kids Fishing Derby hosted by the West Seattle Sportsmen’s Club will bring fun of the fishing kind this Saturday, June 7th, at the Seacrest Park Marina, 1660 Harbor Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98126.
This is a Seafair event.
The on dock pond is stocked with fish from the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife.
The start whistle will blow Saturday morning at 8:00 am. They ’ll fish until 11:00 am. All are welcome!
The West Seattle Sportsmen’s Club first chartered itself in 1934. In 1937 it incorporated as a 501 c 7, not for profit organization, whose “fundamental purpose of the club is to develop opportunities for the enjoyment of outdoor life as an essential part of the character building, and the spiritual and physical development of people.
“To help in the conversation of all game [animals] and game fish.
“To encourage the protection and restoration of the forests and all wild life.
“To safeguard the public health and conserve aquatic life by the elimination of all waters.”
