USN Blue Angel #5 (Lead Solo) performs a sneaker pass 25 ft above the water on Lake Washington in front of boaters on the logboom during there 2012 performance.
The USN Blue Angels will buzz the west side of the Seattle coastline, passing the Space Needle, at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the afternoon while en route to Boeing Field where they are stationed at The Museum of Flight for their appearance at Seafair's biggest weekend Aug 1-3 2014.
There are multiple viewing spots around West Seattle to see them fly in. Some good spots are Jack Block Park on Harbor Ave SW, Admiral Viewpoint off off SW Admiral Way, Hamilton Viewpoint Park, and anywhere along Alki Avenue.
