The 2014 West Seattle Car Show featured more than 100 entries on Sunday Sept. 14 with entries for the first time from all kinds of vehicles. This year's show honored Michael Hoffman, former owner of Liberty Bell Press, who founded the show but who passed away this year.
Hundreds of people packed the West Seattle junction for the 7th annual car show. This years show was different than past years as this year is the first year it's class will be open to any cars, trucks, and motorcycles from any year.
The show in the heart of The Junction started at 10 am and ending around 4 pm. The awards will be presented around 3 pm.
More than 100 vehicles are pre-registered for the event, ranging from the oldest registrant, a 1927 Studebaker, all the way to the newest, a 2014 Tesla. More than 200 actually showed up.
Ten creatively and unique made trophies, designed by local artist Mindi Katzman, and Brian Walker who fabricated them, will be awarded in a variety of categories including a Best in Show trophy in honor of the show’s founder Michael Hoffman, who died this year at age 47.
