High schools
Football
Kennedy Catholic will host Foster for a 7:30 p.m. game at Highline Memorial on Thursday.
Highline Memorial will be the site of a double-header Friday, with Highline hosting Renton at 5 p.m. and Mount Rainier entertaining Kent-Meridian at 8 p.m.
Evergreen is on the road at Bainbridge at 7 p.m. that day.
Volleyball
The Metro League regular season concludes Wednesday, with Chief Sealth hosting Franklin and West Seattle visiting Ballard at 7 p.m.
Metro League seeding playoff action will start Thursday.
Also on Thursday, Evergreen is at Highline and Tyee at Kennedy with Foster at home against Lindbergh.
All of that action starts at 7 p.m., as does Tuesday's Highline at Foster, Renton at Evergreen, Tyee at Lindbergh and Kennedy at Hazen matches.
Metro League tournament play also continues Tuesday.
Girls soccer
The Valley Ridge complex next to Tyee will host two games at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Highline and Evergreen meet on one field and Kennedy and Tyee do battle on the other.
Mount Rainier hosts Decatur at 7:30 p.m. at Highline Memorial and Foster goes to Renton Stadium to play Lindbergh at 5:30 p.m.
Chief Sealth, meanwhile, is at Nathan Hale at 3:30 p.m. and West Seattle at Bainbridge at 6:15 p.m.
JFK is at Lake Washington for a 6 p.m. non-league match Friday, and Saturday is a full slate of Seamount League games.
Tyee hosts Lindbergh at 11 a.m. and JFK entertains Hazen at 2 p.m. at Starfire.
Evergreen drops in on Renton at 5 p.m. and Highline goes to Foster at 7:30 p.m.
West Seattle visits Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
JFK and Evergreen meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Valley Ridge, with Mount Rainier going to Federal Way Memorial to play Todd Beamer at 5:30 p.m.
Tyee drops in on Hazen at 6 p.m., then at 7:30 p.m. Highline is at home against Lindbergh and Foster at home against Renton.
Boys tennis
The Seamount League tournament runs Thursday through Saturday of this week at various sites.
Girls swimming
The Evergreen/Highline/Tyee team hosts Lindbergh for a 3 p.m. meet Thursday as Kennedy entertains Tyee and Foster hosts Lindbergh.
The South Puget Sound League meet is at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Rogers High School in Puyallup.
Golf
Both the boys and girls Seamount League tournaments take place starting at 10 a.m. Saturday on the Auburn course.
Cross country
The Class 2A and 3A sub-district meets will be held starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at Fort Steilacoom.
Pro and college
Seahawks
Seattle will be on the road for a 10 a.m. game again Sunday, when it drops in on the Carolina Panthers.
The action will be shown on Channel 7 TV.
Sounders
Seattle wraps up its regular season Saturday, hosting Los Angeles at 12 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
Channel 5 TV will show the game live.
Huskies
The University of Washington football team hosts Arizona State for 7:45 p.m. action Saturday on the ESPN cable network.
Cougars
Arizona comes to Pullman to play the Cougars at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Pac-12 network will show that game.
Thunderbirds
The Kent-based Seattle hockey team hosts Spokane at 7:35 p.m. Friday at the Showare Center and goes to Everett to play the Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
