High schools
Winter sports
Practices for all Winter high school sports in the state of Washington opened Monday and will continue the next two weeks.
The first day of any competition will be Saturday, Nov. 29.
Pros and colleges
Seahawks
The defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks face this year's NFC West leaders Sunday when they host the Arizona Cardinals for a 1:05 p.m. game.
The action at CenturyLink Field will be shown on Channel 13 TV.
Sounders
Seattle opens the Western Conference finals Sunday when they visit Los Angeles for a 2 p.m. game.
ESPN cable will carry the action live.
Thunderbirds
Seattle hosts Spokane for 7:35 p.m. Western Hockey League action at Showare Center in Kent Friday before entertaining the Everett Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
Husky football
Washington hosts Oregon State for 7:30 p.m. action Saturday on the Pac-12 network.
Cougar football
The Washington State University Cougars pay a 10 a.m. visit to Arizona State on Saturday, with Pac-12 televising the game.
Husky men
The Huskies visit Seattle University for a 7 p.m. game Friday before entertaining Pacific at 5 p.m. Sunday at the KeyArena.
The Pac-12 network will show the Sunday game.
Husky women
The University of Washington women host South Dakota for a 7 p.m. game Thursday before entertaining Yale at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Cougar men
Washington State University hosts Idaho State at 6 p.m. Friday in Pullman on the Pac-12 network.
Cougar women
Nebraska visits the Washington State women's basketball team at 8 p.m. Wednesday on the Pac-12 network and Seattle University drops in at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The Cougars go to Hampton for 4 p.m. action next Tuesday.
