Seattle Police officer Tyler Keating saved a two year old girl's life on Saturday after she was found in a retention pond near her High Point home.
Her parents called 911 to report their daughter missing just before noon on Saturday. They reported last seeing the child in the backyard of their home where some family members were watching her.
Officers arrived within three minutes and were told the child had been found in a retention pond near the home. Officer Keating reached the child first and discovered she was not breathing and had no pulse. After quickly calling medics, Officer Keating started CPR and then reported she now had a pulse and shallow breathing.
Medics arrived and took over treatment, taking the now crying girl to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.
