The retiring David Ortiz and the Boston Red Sox are in town for their only visit of the year this week, playing 7:10 p.m. games at Safeco Field on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim invade for a 7:10 p.m. game Friday, a 6:10 p.m. game Saturday and a 1:10 p.m. contest Sunday.
It will be Ken Griffey Jr. Hall of Fame weekend, with a bobblehead night Friday, Griffey's jersey retirement ceremony Saturday and a Griffey replica jersey giveaway Sunday.
The Detroit Tigers follow the Angels into town, playing at 7:10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday of next week.
All Mariners games can be seen on the ROOT Sports cable television network.

Tacoma is in El Paso for 6:05 p.m. contests Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday before coming home to face Federal Way High School graduate Travis Ishikawa and the Sacramento Rivercats at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, 7:05 p.m. Monday and 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Rainiers games can be seen on MiLB cable.

Seattle visits Orlando City at 4 p.m. Sunday in a game carried on FS1.
Emerald Downs
Emerald Downs in Auburn is open for 6:30 p.m. racing Friday and for 2 p.m. action Saturday and Sunday.
Hydros
Sunday is the annual SeaFair hydroplane races on Lake Washington and on Channel 7, accompanied by the Blue Angels air show.
Sunday the gates open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with preliminaries from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
