Kelemete back with Saints
Evergreen graduate Senio Kelemete is back with the New Orleans Saints this year in his fourth year of professional football.
Kelemete is back as an offensive guard, but is also listed on the Saints' roster as a center.
Kelemete stands at 6 foot, 3 inches and comes to the Saints by way of the University of Washington and the Arizona Cardinals.
Madison a junior for Cougars
Kennedy graduate Cole Madison is now a redshirt junior offensive lineman for Washington State University.
Madison checks in at 6 foot, 5 inches and 305 pounds.
Kela picks up fourth win
Chief Sealth graduate Keone Kela has earned his fourth win of the season this past week for the Texas Rangers, improving his record to 4-1 out of the bullpen.
Kela has 31 strikeouts in 20.2 innings of work in 21 games in a season shortened earlier by right elbow surgery.
Barnette now 6-3, 2.09
Thomas Jefferson graduate Tony Barnette is working out of the same Texas Rangers bullpen as Kela and now has a 6-3 record with a 2.09 earned run average.
Barnette has 38 strikeouts in 51.2 innings over 45 appearances.
Ishikawa now hitting .258
Federal Way graduate Travis Ishikawa is now hitting .258 (54-for-209) for the Sacramento Rivercats, the Class AAA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.
Ishikawa has 10 home runs and 10 doubles with 42 RBI and 25 runs scored.
Conger still in Durham
Federal Way native Hank Conger is still catching for the Durham Bulls after starting off the year with the parent Tampa Bay Rays team.
Conger is hitting .194 (14-for-72) for the Bulls with three doubles, one triple and three home runs. Conger has 10 RBI and six runs scored.
Brett on disabled list
Highline graduate Ryan Brett remains on the disabled list for the same Durham Bulls team. Brett plays second base and split last year with the Bulls and Tampa Bay Rays.
