Highline Bears hang on to beat Blue Jackets

Ryan Kolisch threw seven scoreless innings to lead the Highline Bears to a 3-1 win over the Kitsap Blue Jackets in Pacific International League semiprofessional baseball action Saturday.
Kolisch left with a 3-0 lead in the top of the eighth in favor of Mason Harris, who also threw a scoreless inning.
The Blue Jackets got one run back in the top of the ninth in the action at Mel Olson Stadium at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center, but the Bears held on for the victory to improve their season record to 2-3.
Chandler Michalek put the Bears on the scoreboard with a solo home run in the bottom of the second and Alex Sisley ripped an RBI single in the fourth to make it a 2-0 game.
Chris Hollabaugh hit a single up the middle to plate Tristan Wilhite for the third run in the fifth.
Next up for the Bears is a rematch with the Blue Jackets at 7:05 p.m. Sunday at Mel Olson. They host the Senators of Lacey at the same time and place Tuesday.
