Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is designing a new park for the landbanked site at 4731 40th SW that has been the temporary home for Fire Station 32 as their new home was under construction. SPR is seeking public input on the park design and is holding an open house during the West Seattle Farmers Market on Sunday Sept. 10 from 10am to 2pm
SPR acquired the .65 acre site in 2012. Funding is provided by the Seattle Park District.

Fire Station 32 has now vacated the site and moved into its new home at 3715 Alaska Street SW. And open house for that new building is planned soon.
