Highline College is in lockdown after reports of shots coming from the parking lot. King County Sheriff states they were cancelled from responding. People now being allowed to go back into the buildings that were were swept by Kent police.
Now confirmed no shooter on campus.
Kent Police say via scanner that "the witness who heard shots has been released. He did not see anything." There are unconfirmed reports of fireworks being set off near the basketball courts.
Highline College stated at 9:57am
"Remain in lockdown - This is not a drill
Police are clearing buildings. Please remain in lockdown until police have cleared your building. Parents can re-unify with students in the Lowes parking lot of Pacific Highway."
Renton Police say via Twitter
"WSP assisting and shutting down SBound Pacific Highway S, between 240th and Kent DesMoines Rd. Please avoid area if possible while agencies continue to evaluate situation at Highline Community College./sh "
"Families that want information or need a location to go to regarding Highline Incident (still unconfirmed) are being directed to Lowes NW corner parking lot a this time./sh "
The college Facebook page stated.

All Buildings need to remain in lockdown. Barricade doors and windows. Police are responding and we will have further details shortly."
