TACOMA--Chloe Cunliffe of West Seattle High School cleared 14 feet, 0 inches to take home the Class 3A girls pole vault title from the state track and field meet that took place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Mount Tahoma.
Celyn Stermer of Ballard took third in the same event at 12-06.
Cunliffe was also sixth in the long jump at 17-02.25 with sister Sophia Cunliffe snagging ninth at 16-08.
West Seattle teammate Grace Sarver took second in the girls 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.06 seconds and Owen Coutts of Ballard placed second in the boys 200-meter dash in 22.36.
McKenna Cowan of Highline finished third in the girls 2A 800 in 2:16.82 and the Ballard team took third in the boys 3A 400-meter relay in 42.48.
Highline placed fourth in the girls 1,600 relay in 4:06.17 and Ballard's Dajean Wells was fourth in the boys 100 in 11.11.
Foster finished fifth in the 2A boys 400 relay in 44.29 with Ballard fifth in the girls 3A 1,600 relay in 4:04.86.
Foster's Lisia Leiato was fifth in the girls discus at 113-03 with sister Marina Leiato seventh at 111-01.
Ballard's Stermer snagged sixth in the girls 3A 100 in 12.72.
Kyle Gran of Highline took seventh in the boys 110 hurdles in 16.08 with Foster's Drew Hill seventh in the 300 hurdles in 41.52.
Cowan came in seventh for Highline in the girls 1,600 in 5:07.08.
Ballard placed seventh in the girls 400 relay in 50.60.
Nouci Ha of Evergreen tied for seventh in the girls 2A high jump at 4-10.
Mattison Crook of Mount Rainier was 11th in the girls 4A discus finals at 118-05 and 12th in the shot put at 36-00.75.
Evergreen's Michael Meslar placed 12th in the boys 2A high jump at 5-08.
Morgan Williams of Seattle Christian was the local highlight in 1A action in Cheney, coming in 13th in the girls triple jump finals at 32-02.
Joshua Saole-Favors placed 13th in the boys 2A long jump at 19-06. Teammate Hill took 16th at 18-09.75 and Ballard's Samantha Smith was 16th in the girls 3A 3,200 finals in 11:34.11.
