Subject: 17th Annual West Seattle Garden Tour

All WS ticket outlets have received their tickets for this year's WS Garden Tour which occurs on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The WS ticket outlets are: Junction True Value, West Seattle Nursery, ArtsWest, Metropolitan Market and Village Green Perennial Nursery. Tickets will be available for sale starting this weekend. Tickets are also available online at www.brownpapertickets.com. Ticket price is $15 per person (children under 12 are free).

This year's tour features ten spectacular residential gardens, including the 2.5-acre former Colman-Pierce estate. Sue Goetz will be presenting a noon-time lecture on Perennial Creativity at the WS Golf Course. All proceeds from the tour benefit local non-profit organizations that promote horticultural, educational or artistic endeavors. Our 2011 beneficiaries are ArtsWest Theatre, the Seattle Chinese Garden, the Duwamish Longhouse, Lincoln Park P-Patch, Nantes Park, the Nature Consortium, Walking on Logs Landscape Restoration Group and the West Seattle Tool Library.
