Animal Aid & Rescue Foundation, or AARF, a familiar fixture at West Seattle street fairs and civic events, are representing today at "Woofstock" in Tacoma. AARF has placed many foster dogs with West Seattle families, and has collected money for vet bills for dogs in our area.
Heather Johnson Enajibi and Erin Halter of Animal Aid & Rescue Foudation, or AARF , our doggie rescue friends who seem to hit every West Seattle street fair and fest, are today at Woofstock 2011 in Tacoma until 4:30 p.m.
Woofstock is a large event put on by the wonderful Dugan Foundation. We'll be there (along with over 20 other rescue groups) with adoptable dogs and Merrick goodies to help us raise money for our extensive vet bills. Come enjoy some great music, shopping and fun for the whole family.
Saturday, August 6 · 10:00am - 4:30pm
Location:
Todd Field on the University of Puget Sound Campus
1500 N Warner Street
Tacoma, Washington
Heather and Erin have rescued, and placed, many troubled foster dogs with West Seattle families. Check out their AARF website.
Erin says, " Come by and meet Dug, Wyatt, Daizy and Duke." We assume, but cannot confirm, that these are dogs.
