The Rams took a 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 to the Hornets in a non-league match played last Thursday.
Gabby Christopher scored four kills for the Rams and Amanda Goucher had three kills, two digs and one ace. Tristen Yong contributed two aces, one kill and one block and Megan Dale scored two aces, six kills, three digs and one block. Jenna Nye racked up 14 assists and scored one kill.

The Rams of Des Moines outdistanced the Falcons in SPSL North Division action Friday.
Mount Rainier opened by winning the 200-yard medley relay in a time of 1:56.52 turned in by M. Kawaguchi, R. Webster, J. Beal and K. Lemley.
C. Koch scored 149.55 points to win the diving competition for the Rams and Kawaguchi took the 100-yard butterfly in 1:01.40. Beal won the 500-yard freestyle relay in 5:41.87 and C. Larson took the 100-yard backstroke in a state-qualifying time of 1:02.28. A. Burdine took the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.58.
