A new West Seattle themed coffee mug created by Seattle area tableware designer Rosanna and produced in cooperation with Bartell's Drugs aims to foster community pride.
Seattle area tableware designer, Rosanna, and Bartell Drugs have teamed up to create a joint project that celebrates West Seattle with a custom design with a West Seattle theme.
It is one of more than a dozen neighborhood mugs, plates, and Christmas ornaments that celebrates neighborhoods in the Puget Sound area.
These mugs were created as a way for people to feel more connected with their neighborhood. West Seattle was chosen because of its historical importance, beauty, and personality.
Rosanna & Bartells are hoping to further foster community pride and will be purchasing a park bench for the neighborhood with a location to be announced later. An announcement will be made on Monday, November 14th on KING 5's New Day Northwest.
