Rat City Rollergirls are back! They have many fans in West Seattle and White Center due in art to Southgate Roller Rink in White Center where some team members practice.

The Rat City Rollergirls will kick off Season 8 on January 21st. See your returning favorites, along with up-and-coming new stars, as roller derby returns to Key Arena.
The evening’s first bout will feature everyone’s favorite derby revolutionaries, the Derby Liberation Front, taking on the black and silver of the Throttle Rockets. The action won’t stop there, as the second bout will see the Sockit Wenches revved up and ready to take on last year’s champs, Grave Danger! Every bout this season counts toward the standings, so the action will be fierce – you won’t want to miss this exciting season opener!
Each team has veterans who have sharpened their skills as well as spectacular new skaters, some from Rat City’s training team, the Rat Lab, and others who moved to Seattle from other parts of the U.S. With all four teams striving for even playing ground, competition is at an all time high.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and Opening Ceremonies begin at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.
