Spring Fling event supported "biggest little event" White Center July Jubilee Days

The Youngstown Center of the Arts on Delridge Way played host May 5 to White Center Jubilee Days Spring Fling fund raising event. Food, an open bar, and numerous performers softened up people wallets for a worthy neighborhood cause.
Many movers and shakers from the White Center community, Burien, and West Seattle were in attendance.
Jubilee Days is the biggest little event in Western Washington. Run by an all volunteer staff and funded solely by donations from the community, Jubilee Days is preparing for their 89th year of bringing fun and entertainment to the community of White Center.
Many thanks to Jesse Lovell of the Company Bar, Stefanie Albeck of Proletariat Pizza, and Sara Sanford of the Edgar Martinez Foundation for putting on this wonderful event.
While the total of funds raised is still being calculated, the early assessment was that the event exceeded the organizers goals.
