West Seattle 13, Rainier Beach 0
West Seattle High School whalloped Rainier Beach for the second time in three days Friday.
After beating Rainier Beach by a 28-0 score Wednesday they tacked on a 13-0 win over the same team two days later.
Ben Wexler threw a no-hitter for the Wildcats in Friday's win, striking out six in a game stopped after five innings of play because of a 10-run rule.
Thomas Snow hit 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI for West Seattle as teammate Sam Hellinger hit 1-for-2 with one run and two RBI on a home run.
Next up for the Wildcats is a 3:30 p.m. home game against Franklin this Wednesday. The action will take place at Hiawatha.
West Seattle turns around to visit Franklin this coming Friday.
Like most area games, Chief Sealth's action against Nathan Hale was rained out this past Friday.
The Seahawks host Rainier Beach at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the SWAC before going to Rainier Beach for a second game this coming Friday.
West Seattle's soccer team visits BOC Bilingual for a 1 p.m. Wednesday game and hosts Bainbridge at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Evergreen baseball is home against Renton at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and at Kennedy Catholic for a 3:30 p.m. game Friday.
