The annual Hi-Yu Gala celebrating the coronation of the 2013 Hi-Yu Queen, April Davis with a silent auction and a White Rose Ceremony is now set for Friday, May 10th, 2013 at OLG Life Center 7000 35th Ave SW.

The doors open at 7 PM and Hors d’oeuvres and No Host Bar will be available.

Hi-Yu has promoted the West Seattle Community for over 79 years through summer festivals such as Summerfest, Seafair and other local events. This year we are combining the auction, coronation and White Rose Ceremony into an Annual Gala. The auction raises funds for our scholarship program to help the young women attending colleges. Also, financial support keeps the only community owned float visible in parades like the American Legion Parade, 4th of July Burien Parade and Seafair Torchlight. This year's theme is, Alki Deep - An Undersea Adventure, promoting the beauty and life beneath the waters of Puget Sound.
