The complete schedule for the Arts in Nature Festival has been released. The event which takes place in West Seattle's Camp Long Aug. 10-11 is a unique blend of music, dance, performance art, and interactive exhibits. It's completely family friendly with activities for children like printmaking, hula hooping, a Species Parade, a juggling workshop, and youth art. The Museum of Sound will feature installations by local musicians (including Chris Ballew and wife Kate Endle) in the camps rustic cabins.

After taking a year off due to financial issues, the Nature Consortium's Arts in Nature Festival is set to return to Camp Long on Aug. 10-11.

Cloud Cult will headline the weekend.

The Nature Consortium describes the event as "an eclectic experience of music, dance, and art in the woods of Camp Long, Seattle's only campground. The festival will be packed with performances, from bluegrass to indie rock, from dance to literary readings, plus art installations, a Museum of Sound, a ropes challenge course, and many more surprises to come."

Also appearing are musical acts Nu Klezmer Army, West Seattle's Chris Ballew as Caspar Babypants, Anti-Fascist Meandering Band, Ranger & The Re-Arrangers and Monarch Duo. More may be announced.

In the Museum of Sound you'll hear Perri Lynch, Billy Joe Miller, Hollow Earth Radio, Caspar Babypants & Kate Endle, and Kristin Tollefson.

Dance and performance artists Lelavision, Soto Style Dance (performing Gathering Bones), Pyrosutra and CabaretLong will appear.

An Installation by Anne Blackburn will be featured.

Interactive performances will be offered by Species Parades, Laughter Circle, Lit Readings, and Writing Workshops & Open Mic led by Katy Ellis.
