The Chief Sealth Seahawks hosted the Cleveland high Eagles in a Metro-Sound football match-up friday night. Both teams were looking for their first win of the season, and they both came with an aggressive offensive plan that produced big plays all night long.

Sealth got the opening kick off and went to work quickly. They set the table with a couple of runs then unleashed a 54 yard TD pass from QB WESTON REED to wide receiver LEEANDRE DICKERSON going up 7-0 with less than 2 minutes gone in the game.

The two teams settled in and battled back and forth for much of the first quarter, with Cleveland making it to the Sealth red zone four times in the first quarter.

On their first trip, Cleveland got a break on a quick kick and started on their own 31. A long reception by the Eagle's Dale Daniels got them down to the Sealth 21 yard line and a chance to tie. Cleveland went to the air in the red zone and Sealth's CZAI TERRELL grabbed his first interception of the night at the 13 yard line, returning it to the 47.

On their second trip, the Eagles made it to the Sealth 13 yard line. They went to the air and the Sealth's Terrell stepped up again, snagging the ball in the end zone for his 2nd interception of the night, keeping Sealth on top of the scoreboard.

On their third trip, another long pass to Daniels put the Eagles on the Seahawks 10 yard line. The Sealth defense held once more and the cycle started again.

Hoping the 4th time in the red zone was a charm, the Eagles executed a series that looked like another dead end with 4th and long near the Sealth 30 yard line. Going for it, Cleveland's Amonte Phillips threw a 30 yard TD to Zechariah Brown and the Eagles were on the board 7-6.

Sealth regained their offensive rhythm in the 2nd quarter. Starting from their own 37 yard line, Reed connected on a beautiful pass to ALLONEY BURRIS who finished the job with his feet for a 63 yard touchdown.

Sealth was up 14-6 at the half.

The 3rd quarter was more of the same aggressive back and forth. After recovering a Cleveland fumble, Sealth returned the favor when the Eagles' Latrez Darden intercepted a Seahawk pass and returned it 70 yards for a score. That made it 14-12 with 9:50 left in the third.

Cleveland went up on Sealth later in the 3rd quarter. Starting on their own 13, Cleveland QB Philips had a long run to the 46 yard line. After stringing together a few more good runs, Cleveland handed off to Rachaun McConico for a 17 yard TD and it was 19-14 Cleveland at 1:33 in the third.

Sealth dug in and answered on their next possession starting at midfield. A 14 yard gain by DARON CAMACHO gave Sealth a first down. Then, Reed again went to BURRIS resulting in a 30 yard TD and Sealth was back up 20-19 at 11:17 in the 4th.

The lead did not last long. After the kick off to the 45 yard line, the Eagles put together another set of long runs off- tackle and up the middle. Then Eagle Rachaun McConico got the call for a hand off and turned it into a 47 yard run for a touchdown. The two point PAT failed, and it was 25-20 with 8:24 left in the game

The last 8 minutes was a frenzy of football with the chains traveling east and west. The crowd fully engaged knowing either team could pull out a win. Ultimately, Chief Sealth was unable to answer and the Cleveland Eagles got the win.
