Boys basketball
West Seattle is set to entertain Lakeside in a 7:30 p.m. Monday game and Evergreen gets a visit from Olympia at 7 p.m.
Chief Sealth travels to Eastside Catholic for 7:30 p.m. action Tuesday, then Evergreen opens its Seamount League season with a 7 p.m. visit to Hazen on Wednesday before hosting Lindbergh at 6:15 p.m. Friday.
Bainbridge is at Chief Sealth for 8 p.m. action on Friday and West Seattle travels to Rainier Beach at the same time.
Chief Sealth's Seahawks go to Cleveland High School for a 4:45 p.m. game on Saturday.
Girls basketball
West Seattle will be at home for a 7:30 p.m. game against Lakeside on Wednesday as Chief Sealth travels to Eastside Catholic.
Friday's schedule has Bainbridge at Chief Sealth at 6:15 p.m. with West Seattle at Rainier Beach at the same time.
The Seahawks are at Cleveland with a 3 p.m. start Saturday.
Gymnastics
For the second straight week, Chief Sealth will be at West Seattle for a 4 p.m. meet on Friday. Holy Names Academy will also be there.
Wrestling
West Seattle hosts Eastside Catholic for a 6:30 p.m. match Tuesday and Chief Sealth visits O'Dea at the same time.
Evergreen goes to Kennedy with Tyee at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Swimming
West Seattle is at the SWAC pool for a 3:30 p.m. meet against Lakeside Friday as Chief Sealth travels to Seattle Prep.
Colleges
Football
It was announced Sunday that the University of Washington will be playing Brigham Young University at the Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco with a 6:30 p.m. start on Friday, Dec. 27.
The Washington State University Cougars, meanwhile, are going to Albuquerque to play Colorado State in the New Mexico Bowl at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21.
Men's basketball
The University of Washington men will be at home playing Idaho State in 1 p.m. Saturday action that can be seen on the Pac-12 cable network.
Washington State University is home in Pullman playing Pepperdine at 5 p.m. Sunday in a game that will also be televised on Pac-12 and Seattle University will be at home against Pacific Lutheran at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Gonzaga, meanwhile, goes to West Virginia for 6 p.m. action on ESPN this Tuesday before coming to Key Arena in Seattle to play Southern Alabama at 7 p.m. Saturday on ROOT Sports.
Women's basketball
Friday the University of Washington women will be at home against Wisconsin in a game that can be seen on the Pac-12 network before hosting Montana State at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Washington State University goes to Dayton for an 11 a.m. game Sunday and Seattle University is home against Montana State at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Seattle Pacific University is at home at the Royal Brougham Pavilion taking on Warner Pacific at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The Gonzaga women go to Wisconsin for 5 p.m. action Tuesday before visiting Stanford at 1 p.m. Saturday in a game on the Pac-12 network.

Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks travel across the country to New York to take on the Giants at 10 a.m. Sunday. The National Football League game can be seen on KCPQ Channel 13.
Thunderbirds
Seattle goes to the Tri Cities in Eastern Washington to play the Americans in 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League action Tuesday before coming home to the Showare Center in Kent to play the Portland Winterhawks at 7:35 p.m. Friday. The Thunderbirds turn around to visit Portland for a 7 p.m. match Saturday.
