The Wildcats of West Seattle travel to Garfield for a 7:30 p.m. non-league game Monday before paying a 6:15 p.m. Friday visit to crosstown rival Chief Sealth as Metro League play resumes.

Men's basketball
The University of Washington Huskies plunge into their regular Pac-12 schedule Thursday, visiting Arizona State for a 5 p.m. game that can be seen on ESPNU. They visit Arizona at 11 a.m. Saturday in a game carried on the Pac-12 network.
Washington State University, meanwhile, is at Arizona for a 7 p.m. game Thursday on the Pac-12 network and at Arizona State for a 3 p.m. game Saturday on ESPNU.
Seattle University is home against UMKC at 7 p.m. Saturday, and Gonzaga hosts St. Mary's at 6 p.m. Thursday and Pacific at 5 p.m. Saturday, with Thursday's game on ESPN2 and Saturday's on ROOT.
Seattle Pacific University visits Western Oregon at 7 p.m. Thursday and St. Martin's of Lacey at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Women's basketball
Arizona visits the University of Washington for a 7 p.m. Pac-12 game Friday and Arizona State comes to town for a 2 p.m. game Sunday that can be seen on the Pac-12 network.
Washington State University is home against Arizona State at 7 p.m. Friday and home against Arizona at 12 p.m. Sunday. Sunday's action will be carried on the Pac-12 network.
Seattle University is at Chicago State for 5 p.m. action Thursday and at UMKC for a 12 p.m. game Saturday, while Seattle Pacific University hosts Western Washington University at 7 p.m. Thursday and Simon Fraser at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Gonzaga goes on the road to play Portland at 7 p.m. Friday.

As the NFC West division champions with the NFC's No. 1 seed, Seattle gets a bye past this coming weekend's action.
The Seahawks will wait until 1:35 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 to host Green Bay, San Francisco or New Orleans at CenturyLink Field.

Seattle hosts Kamloops for a 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League match at Showare Center in Kent on Tuesday.
It is a 2-for-Tuesday half price night.
The Thunderbirds then open 2014 on the road, visiting Red Deer at 6 p.m. Friday, Edmonton at 6 p.m. Saturday and Calgary at 3 p.m. Sunday.
