Shorewood Christian 74, Lummi Nation 64
Stan Domingo racked up 30 points to lead the Lions of Shorewood Christian past the Lummi Nation team from the Bellingham area at Mount Vernon Christian school Friday.
The Lions of West Seattle were bouncing back from an 86-55 1B Tri-District semifinal loss to Tulalip Heritage, and the 74-64 win over Lummi Nation sent them into Saturday's game for third and fourth place.
Shorewood Christian nailed down a state regional berth and the Lions will travel to WF West High School in Chehalis to play Oakville in a 2 p.m. game this coming Saturday. The winner goes to the state final eight at the Tacoma Dome next week.
In Friday's action against Lumi Nation, Jordan King backed Domingo up with 21 points as JJ Young scored 11, Joey Fevaleaki eight and Micah Lorenz four.
Girls basketball
Liberty 43, West Seattle 30
The Lady Wildcats' season ended with Friday's 43-30 Sea-King District loss to the Liberty Patriots at Bellevue Community College.

Shorewood Christian 63, Cedar Park Christian 48
Shorewood Christian of West Seattle claimed the 1B Tri-District's No. 3 state regional berth with Saturday's win over Cedar Park Christian at Mount Vernon Christian.
Domingo delivered 23 points to lead the way once again as King swished in 16, Lorenz 13, Fevaleaki seven, Young two and Cameron Akers two.

State 3A meet
Carlos Montemayor of Chief Sealth led the West Seattle-area swimmers in Friday and Saturday's state Class 3A meet by taking second place in the 100-yard backstroke with an All-American Consideration time of 50.35 seconds.
Montemayor also took 17th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 53.81 in the action held at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Seahawks teammate Michael Stewart took 13th in the 100 freestyle with a 50.40 time and 16th in the 50 free with a 22.58 clocking.
Chief Sealth took 25th as a team with 18 points.
Boys wrestling
State 2A meet
Lam Phung of Evergreen High School in White Center dropped both of his matches at this past weekend's Class 3A state wrestling meet to bow out of the action held at the Tacoma Dome.
Phung lost his opening match in the 170-pound weight class to Wes Fluery of Burlington by pin with 2:21 elapsed before dropping a 10-3 decision to Clark Smith of Tumwater.
Girls wrestling
State meet
Cecilia Vu of Evergreen also had a two-match stay at state this past weekend.
She fell to Jasmine Pleasants of Thomas Jefferson in 44 seconds in her opener of the 112-pound action before taking a 6-1 loss to Miranda Borrego of Zillah.
