The West Seattle store for Carter's babies and kids will open in early April according to their corporate office. The store joins more than 600 nationwide and five others in the greater Seattle area. It is located in Westwood Village next to Pier One Imports.

Carter's babies and kids store at Westwood Village is hosting a soft opening on Wednesday April 2nd from 4pm-9pm.
The grand opening is Thursday April 3rd 10am-9pm with the Blue Ribbon Cutting at 10am.

The new Carter's babies and kids store is set to open at Westwood Village shopping center at 2600 S.W. Barton Street on April 3. It joins five others in the state, the next nearest is located on the Southcenter Parkway in Tukwila. They are the largest branded marketer of baby and children’s clothing in the U.S., marketing apparel under 2 of the most recognized and brands in the nation, Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh. Those brands are sold at over 600 company-owned retail stores, as well as thousands of national department stores and some of the country’s largest retailers.
Carter's has a history of community involvement including helping moms with early childhood education, their Pajama Program to help children get a good night's sleep, disaster relief for people in dire circumstances helping them to get through trying time, to Light the Night their walking effort for a cure for leukemia and lymphoma.
The new store, now under construction is located near Pier One Imports, across from Chico's.
