West Seattle will be playing for the state championship Thursday, thanks to a 1-0 victory over Issaquah in the loser's bracket final Wednesday.
The Intermediate age 11-13 Little League baseball finals begin at 2 p.m. Thursday against Everett, with the if-necessary game to follow if West Seattle wins.
West Seattle must win twice to claim the state crown.
West Seattle lost to Everett by a 20-0 score in the winner's bracket final on Monday, which dumped the squad into the loser's bracket final.
All of the tournament action is taking place in Snohomish.
And these notes from the League Office:
The 9-10 team is selling raffle tickets one last afternoon - Thursday, July 10th from 4-6 at the Admiral Safeway and Met Market. They have some great prizes and purchases and donations will help with funding for their tournament travel in Richland this weekend.
