Robbery at gunpoint
On Aug.25 at a bus stop heading south on S.W. Brandon St. / Delridge WY S.W. a young woman was robbed at gunpoint. The victim stated to police that shortly after 7 p.m. while she was waiting for the bus a mixed race (possibly black and white) male around 18 years old with a thin build and wearing a blue rain jacket asked the victim for the time. After she gave him the time the suspect walked over to a bus schedule sheet and then began walking back towards the victim with a gun drawn and pointed.
The suspect then demanded the victim’s purse and cell phone after cocking the gun at the victim for dramatic effect. The victim complied and gave the suspect all of her belongings and then began pleading with the suspect that he return her driver’s license since she needed it to be able to visit her boyfriend who is currently in jail. The suspect laughed at the request and then handed over the license before running away. The victim began walking in the direction that the suspect ran and found a bill fold from her purse on the ground with all of the money still inside.
When police arrived they entered the bill fold into evidence to dust for fingerprints. A sweep of the neighborhood was conducted with no results. The suspect remains at large.

Alaska St. The victim was sitting at the bus stop listening to music on his iPhone when a group of 5 juveniles approached the bus stop and sat around him. One of the juveniles walked over the victim, faced him, and began punching him in the face while reaching for his phone.
Another juvenile then jumped in and began punching the victim in the back of his head. Eventually the suspects got the phone (an iPhone 4 with a black case) and the green headphones attached to it. One of the suspects is described as a black male, between 16 and 18 years old wearing an “And 1” hoodie, black shorts, and Air Jordan sneakers.
The victim declined any medical attention once the police arrived. A search of the area was conducted for the suspects with negative results. The suspects remain at large.
