The Keepers’ of Point Robinson and Vashon Park District will host Point Robinson’s annual holiday event, opening the two Keeper’s houses and the Lighthouse to the public on Sunday, December 07 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Captain Joe will provide tours of the Lighthouse and Santa appears at around 1:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres, homemade chili, desserts, apple cider and hot chocolate will be provided. Seasonal music will be performed by Lute, Flute & Fiddle. The Ship’s Store will be open for holiday shopping as well.

All items with pink tags are now half price and on Saturday the 6th we're celebrating the full moon with a 40% reduction on any one item. The American Cancer Society shop will close at 1 p.m. on December 4 while we hold our party to honor our volunteers. You can be part of events like this by volunteering for a 4 hour shift once a week. Our hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays and all other days 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Yoga for the 50 Plus
Senior Center of West Seattle has expanded its health & fitness options. This new yoga class for older adults meets Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. $7/Senior Center members or $10/non-members. Suitable for beginners and those with some yoga experience. Instructor Anita Thompson is a certified yoga teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Class will help those 50 and older stay active and address some of the challenges of aging, such as improving balance and flexibility. Advance registration is preferred, but drop-ins welcome. Bringing a yoga mat and a large bath towel are recommended.
