The body of an approximately 50 year old woman was found about 20 yards off shore near Me Kwa Mooks Park and the Emma Schmitz Memorial Viewpoint Thursday morning. Seattle police are investigating.
Seattle Police and Fire units responded to reports this morning of a body face down in the water off Beach Dr SW near SW Oregon Street. The Fire Dept. accomplished the recovery of the body which they report to be an approximately 50 year old female. The body was found about 20 yards off shore.
She was pronounced DOA. Seattle Police are investigating.
