Blue Angels techs will take you behind the scenes in special South Seattle College talk
The US Navy Blue Angels, in Seattle for Seafair, flew past the West Seattle Bridge during practice flights on Wednesday July 29. Two technicians will reveal how they perform their duties on the special aircraft in a one hour presentation at South Seattle College on July 31.

US Navy Blue Angels technicians will offer a free hour-long presentation and audience Q&A on Friday, July 31 as South Seattle College. The roughly hour long event starts at 8:30am.
South Seattle College’s Aviation Club, the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM,) will host.
The presentation, will provide a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes support that goes into Blue Angel performances, including the Seafair shows this weekend.
South Seattle College Olympic Hall Auditorium (OLY 120) at the West Seattle campus, 6000 16th Ave. SW (campus map link).
Friday’s presentation will be made by Petty Officer of the Navy 1st Class Zoltan Prestridge (aviation maintenance control team) and Petty Officer of the Navy 2nd Class Cyrille Sandusky (aviation electrician crew chief) who will discuss the background and training that led to their position with the Blue Angels, and what it’s like to ensure the safety of pilots’ planes as they perform aerial stunts.
