The Dog Days of August Beerfest & Dog Adoption Event brought to you by Furry Faces Foundation is taking place August 21st, 1 pm - 4 pm at the West Seattle Nursery & Garden Center.

"This is our annual opportunity to help dogs find loving homes," explained Marcia Bruno, manager of West Seattle Nursery & Garden Center, "and raise money to support Furry Faces Foundation mission of keeping pets and people together'"

Emerald City Pet Rescue, Regional Animals Services of King County and Georgia Peaches will be onsite with dogs that are available for adoption. Beer, hot dogs, and the music and vocals of Tim Scallon, Furry Faces Foundation’s popular, Official Musician will all be there.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn about proper nutrition, doggie daycare, home owner/renter insurance for dog--with no breed restrictions, volunteer opportunities and more.
