Fall tryouts
Tryouts for high school football get underway Wednesday across the state of Washington and tryouts for all other fall sports start Monday.

Pros
Seahawks
Seattle plays its first home preseason game of the year Thursday, taking on the Minnesota Vikings at 7 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
The action can be seen live on Channel 13 television.
The Seahawks are coming off a stunning 17-16 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on a Hail Mary pass and a two-point conversion as time ran out Saturday.

Mariners
Seattle is in Anaheim playing the Los Angeles Angels at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, before coming home to Safeco Field for the weekend.
The Mariners play the Milwaukee Brewers -- formerly known as the Seattle Pilots in 1969 -- at 7:10 p.m. Friday, 6:10 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday at Safeco Field.
The New York Yankees then come into town, playing 7:10 p.m. games Monday and Tuesday.
All Mariners games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television.

Rainiers
Tacoma is in Nashville taking on the Sounds at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday and 5:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
The Rainiers come home to Cheney Stadium to play the Las Vegas 51s at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, 1:35 p.m. Sunday and 7:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
MiLB cable carries Tacoma's games live.

Sounders
Seattle is at CenturyLink Field playing the Portland Timbers at 6:10 p.m. Sunday with FS1 carrying the action live.

Emerald Downs
The Auburn oval is open for 6:30 p.m. horse racing Friday and for 2 p.m. action Saturday and Sunday.
