Wind Advisory today predicts gusts up to 45mph; Power outages possible

Tha National Weather Service has posted a Wind Advisory in effect from 9am to 3pm for Saturday Nov. 12. They predict wind gusts as high as 45mph. At that speed tree limbs can break and power outages are possible.

* TIMING...STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING THROUGH 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON.
* WINDS...SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH.
* IMPACTS...WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE CAN BREAK TREE LIMBS FALLING ONTO ROADS...VEHICLES...AND ROOFTOPS. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES ARE POSSIBLE.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 30 MPH WITH GUSTS AT LEAST AS HIGH AS 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
