The annual Taste of West Seattle is set for May 25 and the tickets are going quickly.

This event is a fundraiser to help West Seattle families facing one-time emergencies get back on their feet. The West Seattle Helpline uses all proceeds from the Taste of West Seattle to help West Seattle residents with rent, utilities, clothing, bus tickets and more.

It takes place at the Hall at Fauntleroy and runs from 6 to 9pm.

This is the biggest event of its kind in West Seattle with over 40 establishments represented and more than 500 attendees expected.
