West Seattle boys will face Tides in quarterfinal match

West Seattle High School enters state Class 3A quarterfinal boys soccer tournament action Friday, taking on the Gig Harbor Tides in a 6 p.m. match at Seattle Memorial.
The Wildcats are coming off a 2-1 road win over Stadium to open state tournament play Tuesday, while the Tides were 4-2 winners over Squalicum.
Seattle Christian and Highline are also still alive in their respective tournaments.
Seattle Christian hosts Bush at 7 p.m. Friday at French Field in Kent after defeating White Salmon on the same pitch by a 1-0 score Tuesday.
Highline will be at home against Mountlake Terrace at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Highline Memorial.
The Pirates were 4-3 winners over Columbia River at the Kiggins Bowl in Vancouver Tuesday.
Seattle Christian is in the 1A state quarterfinals and Highline in the 2A state quarterfinals.
