‘Songs of Christmas’ annual community sing-along
Admiral Congregational
United Church of Christ
4320 S.W. Hill St.
Sun., Dec. 10, 3–5 p.m. Come one, come all, bring your friends and neighbors! The church will be aglow with lights, trees and garlands, eagerly waiting for the festivities to start. Join Frosty, Rudolph and Jolly Old St. Nicholas to sing everything from Deck the Halls and Winter Wonderland to Away in a Manger and Silent Night. Listen to the Admiral Choir as they perform “Carol of the Bells” with hand chimes. The hand chimes always bring back fond Christmas memories. The Choir will also pep it up with “We Need a Little Christmas” from “Mame” and get a little crazy singing back up to Pam’s “The Christians and the Pagans.” There will be our marvelous musician, Sam, with his fingers and feet on keys and pedals, playing everything with skill and enthusiasm, making it all look so easy. And of course, there’s always the Christmas Cookie Extravaganza to reward ourselves after all that exhausting singing!! www.admiralchurch.org.
